Register to see your Principality Building Society accounts

To help you manage your money, as an existing Principality customer, you can now register to see your Principality savings and mortgage accounts online.

Why Register?

If you've got a savings or mortgage account with us you can now view that account online, even though you may have opened that account in a branch or via the post. Once you've registered you will be able to:

  • View your Principality Building Society savings and mortgage accounts in one place
  • Use our Secure Message system to communicate with us about your account when it's convenient for you
  • Manage your tax status
  • View and print your tax certificates online
  • See details of any product end dates
  • View your product interest rates
  • If you are an existing Principality customer, you'll be able to do all the above once you've registered
  • If you have an online account with us, you'll already be able to do all this. You should use this option if you do not currently have online access but have a Principality Building Society savings or mortgage account that you'd like to view online

Can I Register?

Please note, you should only register if you:

  • Are a Principality customer
  • Have an active mortgage or savings account with us
  • Do not already have online access (you have a P-number or other form of online login ID)
  • Are the account holder and the controller of the accounts or products
  • Are not a commercial customer
  • Are at least 16 years of age

Passbook Accounts

If you have a passbook, you can only use Your Account functionality if you are the account holder and the signatory on the account. This functionality is not available if:

  • You are the signatory on the account you opened in a child’s name
  • You are the beneficiary of a trust account
  • The account is operated by power of attorney

How does Registration work?

If you register online, we will ask you for some personal information. We will use this information to match you to your accounts that we hold. We will match the information you provide against existing account information, so please ensure that you are as accurate as possible. For example, if you have a name that is readily shortened (e.g. Robert shortened to Bob or Jennifer shortened to Jen), please ensure that you use the version that you use for your Principality accounts. We will also ask you for an email address that we can use to contact you as a part of the registration and activation process.

Once you have successfully registered, we will send you two codes to allow you to activate your registration details. We will send one code to the postal address we currently hold for you. Once this code is delivered to your postal address, you will need to log back onto Your Account using your User Id (P-number), Password and Memorable word and you will be directed to enter your postal activation code.

Once you have completed this step successfully, we will send you an email containing a final code to the email address you have registered with. Entering this code completes activation and you will be able to see any savings and mortgage products you hold with us. If your account details do not match the details you register with: for example, if you have changed your name or address and not told us about the change, we will not be able to register you until you have corrected the changed details on our records.
